Directions and Parking Information
From I-45 South
Take the Cullen/Lockwood exit; turn right on Lockwood; travel about 1/3 mile (past Eastwood Transit Center); park at Austin High School on the left; Tlaquepaque Market is one block away on the right before Telephone Road.
From I-45 North
Take the Cullen/University of Houston exit; stay on the access road and pass Cullen; where the access road splits, veer right; at the light, turn left on Elgin (it becomes Lockwood); travel about 1/2 mile (past Eastwood Transit Center); park at Austin High School on the left; Tlaquepaque Market is one block away on the right before Telephone Road.
Signs will mark the way.
There are alternate means of transportation to Celebrate Houston!
BUS The Tlaquepaque Market plaza at 716 Telephone is .4 miles north of the Eastwood Transit Center, which connects numerous bus lines - 40, 42, 68, 77 and 88. The intersection closest to the event, Telephone and Lockwood, is directly served by the 40 and 42 buses. Just six blocks north, McKinney and Lockwood, is the 36. BIKE The Tlaquepaque Market plaza is a convenient and easy bike ride from many places in Houston. It is two miles east of downtown and 1/2 mile north of University of Houston. The Columbia Tap is a Rails to Trails project that connects the Brays Bayou Trail, crossing Third Ward, to the East End. For more information, please see: http://www.houstonbikeways.org
